June Plum is scientifically known as Spondias dulcis. This is the dwarf variety commonly consumed green. Dwarf June Plum is edible raw and also commonly consumed in prepared dishes. When eaten raw they are crunchy and tangy. If allowed to fully ripen they become sweeter and softer. June plum contains one fibrous seed in the middle of the fruit that is not edible. It has a pineapple to mango like flavor with a golden juicy flesh. June plums are rich in vitamins and minerals. They are especially rich in vitamin C and A. Ripening Guide:
June Plum is shipped green and mature, however may arrive yellow and ripe upon delivery. You may consume the skin along with the flesh of the fruit. Do not consume the large, fibrous seed as it is inedible.
