Rambutan
Rambutan, scientifically known as Nephelium lappaceum is a tropical fruit native to the regions of Southeast Asia. Rambutan is related to the Lychee and Longan, hence the similar appearance once peeled. The outer shell of a Rambutan is bright red and covered in flexible hairs. Its flesh is white translucent and is super sweet and juicy.

Ripening Guide:
Rambutan is shipped ripe and is ready to eat upon arrival. Crack open the shell and eat the juicy flesh around the seed that is in the center. The skin and seed is inedible and may be composted.
