White Guava scientifically known as Psidium guajava, is native to Mexico, the Caribbean and South America. It is a white fleshed version of the more common varieties. This White Guava is a small green tropical fruit with slightly rough skin, that ripens to a pale yellow color. The white pulp can taste super sweet or sour depending on the variety and its stage of ripeness. The crunchy texture can be compared to an apple and pear.
